First impressions on being back in Japan

Human tape recorder - That’s me on Thursdays: two crap Japanese English teachers who suck and just ask me to read to the class. As long as I get paid though, I’ll leave my brain at the front door any day of the week…!
Trains - As efficient as ever, but not as much fun as I remembered…
Food - Amazing as ever, apart from the price of beef going up!!
Banks - Suck as ever, apart from Shinsei Bank which is really rather good!!
Hmmm - Got first verbal warning for getting genuinely lost going to a place I had never been before because the map didn’t look like anything I could see and the two people I asked for directions told me roughly the right direction, but roughly the wrong direction too… I was 6 mins late for the start of school/14 mins early for the start of the first lesson… I don’t intend to be working there for too much longer!
Need to study Japanese - MLC seems good. Or at least their free material looks extremely useful for my forthcoming 2 years solid study!!
