Babel
Published by martyn.jones May 22nd, 2007 in MartynMiho bought Babel on DVD today. We watched it eagerly and both concluded that it was crap. I could make a better film than that! Truely shocking! What was the point of that film?
Leigh was on MSN today. He sent me a chapter of his book… I don’t know, but I feel that the edge that he had when writing his blog has been lost, when writing his book in the comfort of his own home. I’ll give him my thoughts on it and see what happens… If I can help in making the book a better reflection of the life changing event that the trip was, I will have done my little bit to bring the trip back to life…!
Had a rather productive Team Meeting today. Only three analysts invited, and the roles of chair, minuter, and actionee were delegated out. The participating members seemed to enjoy and, all in all, I thought, as mentioned, it was one of the most productive meetings we’ve had. Roll on the next one!!

Thanks for the feedback..I sent you Chapter 8? And you preferred the blog? Hmmmmm. Interesting. I think it may be that I’m not on that trip anymore, that takes the edge away. It’s pretty much the same content, just fleshed out. Anyway speak soon., If you thought Babel was bad, check out the pungent excrement that is Rocky Balboa.
Rocky Balboa - excrement is not the word … it’s too good a-word for that film … *sigh*
But thanks for the heads-up on Babel - and to think I nearly purchased it in Tesco’s t’other day (other supermarkets are available)
