Sat down in the goldfish bowl with KB and started the interview. The first thing he said to me was, with a very serious expression on his face, “Do you want the role of Health and Safety Officer of this site?”

I replied, “Yes”.

He outstretched his hand in front of him and said “Congratulations! You are now the new Health and Safety Officer of this site.”

Interview over, we hand a chat about the role, an extended tour of the site, and a few introductions to people about the place.

If only all interviews were like that!!
