Super Saturday?

Wales lost to France, but should have won.
I’m not a should have/would have/could have man, but Wales were the more creative of the sides and if they were a more mature team (in both individual maturity - age and international experience - and as a team - they have only played these combinations recently) the win was theirs for the taking.
Luscombe and Watkins centre partnership seems to be coming together. Luscombe had one of the best games I’ve ever seen him play. Mike Philips had an exceptional game, and has, in my humble opinion, created a variation we’ve not had for a while at scrum half. And with a world cup around the corner, we’ll be needing horses for courses. Nice one Mike and congrats for Man of the Match. Couple this to the balance they showed between forward and back and I think things looked sweet. Linesout and scrummage were still dodgy however and they will need work if they are to contend in the world cup…
All in all, I think these injuries were a blessing in disguise: come the world cup, we’ll have a lot more options and experience to call on and that can only help our cause… That is, of course, if we don’t have any more injuries…
England and Ireland in a tense see-saw of a match. Thoroughly enjoyable for the neutral.
Plus I cleaned out a cement tank (similar to this but a little bit bigger and not so shiny) before we got it into a trailer (similar to this but a little bit bigger and not so shiny) for dad to scrap on Monday… All good fun, but my boogies are a rather drab and totally disconcerting 1960s high-rise grey now…
