Had that meeting with CBL today. I think it went well. Told her why I hadn’t gone for the team leader role (I know I can do it, I managed a restaurant for a year, therefore the challenge just isn’t there. In addition, a six month secondment and no guarantee of a payrise at the [...]

Day off

Took the day off helping my dad today. Just needed a break really and some time to chill with the family.
Tried to change the fuel filter on the car in the rain. Found the blighter but that’s as far as it got. I couldn’t shift any of the things that needed shifting, and was [...]

Took 4 hours owed to me

Two birth certificates got. All we need now is a letter from the Princess of Wales Hospital saying that Meu was born there, and then we can register her birth in the Japanese Embassy…
And then I had a trim… What do you think??

Super Saturday?

Hell yes!
Wales lost to France, but should have won.
I’m not a should have/would have/could have man, but Wales were the more creative of the sides and if they were a more mature team (in both individual maturity - age and international experience - and as a team - they have only played these combinations recently) [...]

Should be interesting next weekend… (read: Wales to win a very entertaining game… I hope…!)

Wales drew at home to Italy…
Alas! It was not football…
It was a bad result…

Gave Ben his whisky. He was well stoked!!
Stumbled across this today, via Bryn’s daffs on flickr and a couple of clicks…
…which is cool. You too can create your own visited country map, if you can be bothered.
Booked my hols and all are authorised. Yay! Legoland here I come!!
I enjoyed reading [...]

Ouch!

Came to work this morning and the trapped nerve really isn’t getting any better. First thing I did was email Karen to ask her to give me a massage like she did last time my shoulder and neck seized up. No reply yet… Boo hoo!!
Oh the joys of a recurring injury! I rue the day [...]

Trapped nerve: Must have slept funny… Bugger!
IQ Test: 136… “Visionary Philosopher”!
Below code taken from Tickle Results page, but XHTML tidied up a bit:

Your IQ score is 136!

Your mind’s strengths allow you to think ahead of the game — to imagine or anticipate what should happen next in just about any situation. Because you’re equally [...]
