Welcome to the Rollercoaster called life!

I was feeling better by the morning and took the kids to the bus stop.

On returning home, I could still feel that I was cold (i.e. had a fever and so went to bed for a short nap).

That must have been at 9am. I woke again at 2pm. I picked the kids up from the bus stop at 4pm and then the fun began…

Miho phoned me, all of 10 metres away, “Can you come upstairs?”

I went upstairs to be greeted by, “I think they’ve started.”

“What have?”

“The contractions!”

“Oh!”

Photo of Mimeu Eira Jones. In the hospital at about 18.00, baby born at 19.59…

Too many hours later, I was home, exhausted and ecstactic and effervesced out…

Ah, but when I left the hospital it was cold… Seriously cold… -3 on the car’s thermometer and snow had started to fall too. Hence the change of name from Mimeu (beautiful exquisite) Enfys (rainbow) Jones to Mimeu (beautiful exquisite) Eira (snow) Jones… And it continues to snow now…. :-)
