Our trip to Stonehenge & Bath

A close up of Stonehenge It was fr- fr- fr- fr- freezing! A beautifully clear sky, not a cloud to be seen all day, but that wind… A Statue of a Roman soldier in Bath

Stonehenge was great… Those stones are absolutely massive and there’s a third of them underground. A superb experience. Otousan didn’t have a clue about them and I think was pleasantly surprised by the amount of Japanese tourists there, this was then superceded by the amount of Japanese at the Roman baths in Bath.

Bath was cool too. I thoroughly enjoyed the architecture of the place: underfloor heating, insulating bricks in the roof… Some really good ideas there which seemed to have fallen out of favour in the UK until recently.
